📰🤖 Exploring the MAD World of AI: Model Autophagy Disorder 🤯🌀
In a recent Futurism article in an interview with Josue Casco-Rodriguez Sina Alemohammad and Futurism updated by Maggie Harrison on August 2nd, 2023, we dive deep into the surreal and mind-bending realm of AI.
🤖 When AI is Trained on AI-Generated Data, Strange things start to happen. "Loops upon loops". 🌀
This phenomenon, known as Model Autophagy Disorder (MAD), occurs when AI generative models are fed on data generated by other AI models. It's like falling down the rabbit hole, inspired by Lewis Carroll! 🐇🕳️
🌟 The result? An autophageous loop of mesmerising images, that could be scenes from a surreal music video. 🎬📸🎶
To illustrate this concept, I've created a series of images using PlaygroundAI making use of both Playground V1 and Stable Diffusion 1.5 and have conjured up AI-generated wonders. I asked the AI; what MAD would look like.✨
